As compassionate and dedicated immigration and employment lawyer, Ashley is a valuable member of the Kaminker & Associates legal team. In addition to her keen interest in immigration and employment issues, she brings a detailed and thorough eye to each case, ensuring the best outcome for her clients in the timeliest and most cost-efficient manner.
Ashley regularly represents her clients before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada including the Refugee Protection Division, Refugee Appeal Division, Immigration Division and Immigration Appeal Division as well as before the Federal Court of Canada. She also advises individuals and corporations in all facets of immigration law including temporary residence applications, family sponsorship applications, skilled worker applications, Canadian experience class, humanitarian and compassionate applications, and pre-removal risk assessments.
Prior to joining Kaminker & Associates, Ashley articled at the Toronto Worker’s Health and Safety Legal Clinic and worked with one of Canada’s leading employment lawyers. She is currently co-authoring a legal textbook on employment law. Ashley’s excellence in legal writing was recognized with a first prize paper in the Rueter Scargall Bennett LLP Essay Prize in Legal Ethics.
As a law student, Ashley mentored incoming female law students through the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program and was a member of the University of Ottawa Association For At-Risk Women.
